Miami-based studio Luiz de Basto has introduced a new, 80-metre concept named Volare. This superyacht is part of Oceanco's Simply Custom range, which focuses on providing a customizable superyacht built on a reliable platform. The Simply Custom platform offers a volume between 2,200 and 2,700GT, a top speed of 16.5 knots, and a maximum possible length overall (LOA) of 90 metres. It is also equipped with an all-electric propulsion system.

Luiz De Basto's interpretation of the platform includes a rounded hardtop, a sharp bow, and a 'floating superstructure' effect featuring dramatic overhangs. Notable leisure features include a glass-fronted pool with a waterfall on the aft deck and an upper deck conversation area with a firepit, sunpads, and a separate seating area.

De Basto emphasized, 'Volare’s modern design is deeply rooted in our understanding of the evolving desires of today’s yacht owners. For these clients, impeccable quality and technical excellence is a baseline. Beyond this, they are excited by exclusive designs that evoke emotion and artistry, departing from the generic aesthetics of the past. On Volare, our challenge – and our triumph – lies in harmonising beautiful design with precise engineering.'

Oceanco notes that the Simply Custom foundation is fully compatible with alternative renewable diesel fuels like HVO, enabling owners to reduce the yacht’s carbon emissions by approximately 80 to 90 per cent compared to standard marine diesel.

Earlier this year, the shipyard unveiled its own version, the 80-metre Pegasus concept.
