A magnitude 3.5 earthquake hit northern Kuwait on Wednesday night, according to the Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN), which is part of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). The KNSN reported in a news release that the earthquake was 6km deep. Additionally, a 2.2-magnitude aftershock occurred at 6.33pm on the same day, in the same location, and at the same depth, as stated by the Kuwait News Agency.
