Maharaj, the much-awaited film marking the acting debut of Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, has finally announced its release date. Director Siddharth P Malhotra took to Instagram to share the first look poster, captioning it as the clash between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Based on true events, Maharaj is set to release on 14 June exclusively on Netflix. The film stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Junaid Khan, where Junaid plays the role of a journalist. Bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the YRF Entertainment banner, the film also features Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey. Set in 1862, during a crucial period in Indian history, Maharaj portrays a courageous stand in a landmark legal battle, shedding light on a true story more than 160 years later.
