Actor Mahesh Babu is poised to voice the Telugu version of Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King, which is slated for release on December 20. Directed by Barry Jenkins, this latest chapter in the Lion King series delves into the backstory of Mufasa, the iconic lion who has won the hearts of many over the years. The announcement was made by the producers on their social media channels. A post on X, previously known as Twitter, stated, "SUPERSTAR MAHESH BABU will be the Telugu voice of Mufasa in Disney's visually spectacular family film #MufasaTheLionKing. Mark your calendars for the Telugu trailer release on August 26 at 11:07 AM. The movie will roar into theaters on December 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu." The Telugu trailer is scheduled to launch on August 26 at 11:07 AM.
