In a recent crackdown on narcotics, law enforcement authorities apprehended two individuals implicated in a significant drug trafficking operation in Umm Al Quwain. The suspects had concealed over 10 kilograms of illegal substances in a secluded desert location. Following a tip-off from the Department of Narcotics Control at Dubai Police, it was suspected that two individuals were involved in smuggling narcotics and hiding them in a desert area under the jurisdiction of the Umm Al Quwain Police General Command.
A joint team, formed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Drugs Control of the Ministry of Interior, conducted a thorough search and investigation. This led to the identification of the suspects. The operation resulted in the arrest of those involved and the confiscation of narcotics. The apprehended individuals were subsequently handed over to the appropriate authorities for legal proceedings against them.
