Rockstar Games is set to roll out a significant update to Grand Theft Auto Online this December, expanding the game's content with a fresh robbery-themed expansion centered around the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory. The factory, now under the control of Pavel and a former FIB officer, will serve as a hub for covert operations. Players will assist in transforming the factory into a base for launching various high-stakes heists, accessible either through a terminal within the factory or remotely via a new app on the in-game iFruit phone.

The December update will also introduce additional Dispatch missions, new vehicles, enhancements to the Job Creator, and upgrades to the Benefactor Terrorbyte truck. Rockstar has indicated ongoing efforts to refine GTA Online, including automatic Body Armor refills when starting new missions. The game will continue to feature weekly events, bonuses, and seasonal festivities tied to real-world holidays.

In a move that has been long-awaited by fans, exclusive PS5 and Xbox Series X|S features will be making their way to the PC version of the game in 2025. Rockstar promises to provide more details in the future. Since its launch in October 2013, GTA Online has enjoyed continuous support and a dedicated fanbase, contributing significantly to Take-Two's revenue. As GTA 6 is slated for release in 2025, the future of GTA Online remains a topic of speculation.
