Children battling chronic illnesses had the chance to travel overseas thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The foundation revealed that from the start of 2024 until the end of September, it had granted the wishes of 26 children, all part of its mission to bring joy and smiles to these young faces. Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, emphasized the significant impact that fulfilling these wishes has on children dealing with severe health issues. The travel wishes of the children varied widely, including three for performing Umrah, one for performing Hajj, eight for visiting Disneyland Paris, five for Disneyland Orlando, and individual wishes for trips to Disneyland Tokyo, Paris, London, Switzerland, Thailand, Egypt, Dallas, Aqaba, and Mauritius.

"For children grappling with chronic illnesses, the chance to see the world, experience new cultures, and partake in spiritual journeys like Hajj and Umrah, all while escaping their daily routines, is more than just a trip; it's a transformative experience. It provides them with the strength, hope, and emotional fortitude needed to keep fighting. We are dedicated to fulfilling these wishes because we recognize the profound difference it makes," he explained.

Al-Zubaidi also expressed, "We extend a heartfelt thank you to our partners, donors, and supporters. Their unwavering support and continuous generosity have allowed us to bring smiles to these children's faces, granting them the opportunity to see the world beyond their borders and create memories that will endure a lifetime." He further added that the foundation remains committed to fulfilling as many wishes as possible, bringing hope, strength, and happiness to those who need it most.
