Residential and commercial buildings situated along the primary thoroughfares in Sharjah's industrial zones have been mandated by the Ruler of Sharjah to be promptly linked to the sewage network. This decision, as per a directive issued on Tuesday, aims to uphold environmental preservation, public health, and safety, while also diminishing the necessity of deploying tankers for draining flood water.

Dr. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, emphasized in a recent phone interview the indispensable nature of meticulous planning when it comes to new housing projects within the emirate's urban areas. He emphasized the comprehensive consideration of sewage, gas, roads, and landscaping in these developments and expressed gratitude for the continual progress in housing and essential services within the country.
