Mansory strikes again. The notorious German tuning shop, known for transforming stunning cars into unrecognizable oddities, has now turned its attention to the Ferrari Purosangue. And the result is quite something.

Mansory unveiled its so-called 'Pugnator' at the Monaco Yacht Show, which translates to 'contestant' or 'competitor' in Latin. More aptly named 'Repugnantor,' it takes the Purosangue's elegant lines and sculpted edges and distorts them with a widebody kit, marbled carbon fiber trim, vents, wings, and a massive spoiler. The wheels are Mansory’s own FC.5 lightweight forged rims, measuring 22 inches up front and 23 inches in the rear.

Despite the garish black accents and marbled carbon fiber trim, the Purosangue sports a less offensive Vermillion Red paint job. This might be the car’s only visually redeeming feature. At least Mansory enhanced its performance. With an ECU update and a new valve-controlled four-flow sports exhaust, the Pugnator now produces 755 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque from Ferrari’s 6.5-liter V-12 engine, a decent increase from the Purosangue’s factory 715 hp and 528 lb-ft.

The interior appears... nicer, though that’s not saying much. Perforated white leather with red stitching covers nearly every surface, and Mansory logos are plentiful. The steering wheel and dash feature red carbon fiber accents to match the exterior treatment.

Of course, Mansory has been producing polarizing creations for over 35 years, meaning there will likely be buyers for this Ferrari Purosangue, despite its limited appeal. Mansory plans to build only seven of these, but the price remains undisclosed. If you’re interested, expect to pay significantly more than the Purosangue’s $423,686 base price.
