The 26.4-metre Marlow yacht Indigo (formerly known as Lady Eme) has run aground in Sarasota, Florida. Recent imagery reveals that the yacht's swim platform is almost completely out of the water, causing Indigo to list heavily to her starboard side.

The exact reason for this incident remains unclear, although local reports suggest that the adverse weather conditions brought about by Hurricane Milton may be to blame. The hurricane made landfall on Florida's west coast on Wednesday night, October 9th, as a Category Three storm. By the time it reached Central Florida, it had weakened to a Category One, but still brought with it strong winds and heavy rainfall.

Indigo, which was delivered in 2015, is part of the Marlow 90 series and was designed in its entirety by the US yard. The yacht offers accommodation for up to seven guests, boasting features such as an outdoor cockpit, a traditional country kitchen with panoramic views, and a top speed of 26 knots.

BOAT International will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
