Marvel has unveiled the forthcoming release of Marvel Mystic Mayhem, a strategic team-based RPG crafted by NetEase Games. This fresh mobile title will pit players against the nefarious Nightmare, ruler of the Dream Dimension, alongside an eclectic array of superheroes.

The game's unveiling has heightened anticipation for Marvel's expanding roster of video games, which already boasts titles such as Marvel's Wolverine, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra by Skydance New Media, and Blade from Arkane Lyon. Marvel officially announced Marvel Mystic Mayhem through its website and social media platforms, specifying it as a free-to-play mobile game.

Players will unite with heroes like Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Moon Knight, Psylocke, Misty Knight, and Sleepwalker in their battle against Nightmare's sinister schemes. Notably, the Japanese mutant Armor will also feature, equipped with her gauntlets and sabatons, prepared to support Stephen Strange on the battlefield. Fans can pre-register for the game via the official Mystic Mayhem website, although a release date remains unconfirmed.

The game's storyline revolves around Doctor Strange and his companions assembling three-hero squads to harness dream energy from the Mindscape to thwart Nightmare's ambitions for global domination. The antagonist, initially considered for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, takes center stage in this game, compelling Marvel's heroes to confront their innermost fears in dream dungeons. The concept echoes DC Comics' Knight Terrors series by Joshua Williamson, both delving into fear and survival within nightmarish realms.
