Just a week after its launch, Marvel Rivals has received its first patch aimed at fixing several environmental and audio issues currently present in the game. The free-to-play online shooter features Marvel's iconic characters battling it out to defeat Dr. Doom and Doom 2099. Patch 1 tackles numerous surface-level problems, impacting a few heroes like Dr. Strange. The full list of fixes can be found below.

One major issue resolved was players getting stuck on certain maps after being hit near the edge. However, since this bug occurs across multiple maps and areas, it might still persist in some locations. "Further adjustments may still be needed to fully resolve the issue," the recent blog post stated. "We ask for your patience as we continue to investigate and work on preventing this from happening again."

Among the minor bugs completely fixed by NetEase were issues like reducing lag when playing back highlights and recordings. Textual errors were also addressed, with more fixes planned for a future update. Common crash issues, particularly when saving Highlights, have been resolved. Previously, the game would freeze for an extended period after crashing, but now it closes immediately.

Other small fixes include correctly displaying heroes' equipped costumes after joining a Quick Match as a replacement, and accurately showing mission progress on the Season Event screen. Additionally, minor console and PC issues were resolved. On PC, using FSR 3 frame-generation technology to adjust resolution could cause memory leaks and blurry models, but this has now been fixed. For PlayStation, the Scarlet Spider costume would sometimes not display correctly after restarting the game, which has also been addressed.
