This hypercar saw the creation of several variants during its brief production period, including the exceptionally rare P1 LM. This road-legal version of the P1 GTR boasted improved aerodynamics and a more powerful, larger engine. This engine is larger and more powerful than the base P1's 3.8-liter engine, delivering a combined 1,000 horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque, with support from an electric motor. McLaren Chicago is offering this refurbished engine, which includes new liners, new pistons, a new long-stroke crank, and updated ignition coils. The turbochargers have also been serviced.
The P1 LM was a creation of Lanzante Motorsport, which adapted the GTR's aerodynamics with modifications to the rear wing, front splitter, and dive planes. It was also lighter than the GTR, adding to its appeal. However, its extremely limited production run makes it a rare gem.
