Pregnant Megan Fox hasn’t moved on to another heartthrob after her breakup with Machine Gun Kelly. Amid rumors suggesting a behind-the-scenes romance with her “Subservience” co-star Michele Morrone, a video surfaced showing them appearing flirty. However, Morrone’s representative swiftly dismissed these claims.
“Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue. They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project,” Morrone’s spokesperson told TMZ on Tuesday.
The speculation about the sci-fi thriller co-stars intensified after a clip emerged, showcasing undeniable chemistry between Fox and Morrone. In the video, Fox affectionately leaned on Morrone as they playfully teased each other. “You’re not going to talk?” Fox, 38, asked Morrone, 34, who seemed momentarily confused. Fox then laughed and covered her mouth, adding, “I know, it’s a video – but – so, someone has to talk or it’s very awkward.” Morrone’s random remark, “SpongeBob,” led to a playful argument over the pronunciation of the animated character’s name, further igniting their on-screen sparks.

Despite the undeniable chemistry, sources confirmed that the video of Fox and Morrone was filmed over a year ago during the set of “Subservience.” The movie revolves around a struggling father, played by Morrone, who purchases a lifelike AI android named Alice, portrayed by Fox, to assist with daily tasks when his wife falls ill. Initially, everything goes smoothly, but Alice’s obsession with her owner escalates to dangerous, even murderous, lengths.
The thriller was released earlier this year and is now available to stream on Netflix.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Fox and MGK have ended their relationship just weeks after announcing their pregnancy. The couple reportedly split over the Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado, after Fox discovered something on MGK’s phone that upset her. The “Emo Girl” rapper, 34, had to cut their vacation short.
Fox is due in March and is already a mother to three children from her previous marriage with Brian Austin Green. She confirmed her romance with MGK in 2020, shortly after her marriage ended, and they got engaged two years later. MGK also has a daughter, Cassie, 15, from a previous relationship.
This isn’t the first time Fox and MGK have ended their relationship. In March, Fox confirmed they had called off their engagement last year, but they were seen together just months before announcing her pregnancy.
