A minor update has been rolled out for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The patch notes for November 19 include the reintroduction of legacy XP tokens in Black Ops 6 and a fix for overpowered shotguns in Warzone.
One of the key features of this update is the return of legacy XP tokens, which were tokens players acquired in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone before the launch of Black Ops 6. These XP tokens were initially included in the Season 1 update but were subsequently removed by the developer, who cited a UI bug linked to potential game stability issues. Now, players can once again use these old MW3 tokens to accelerate their leveling in Black Ops 6.
The update also rectifies a bug where MW2 and MW3 camos could be applied to Black Ops 6 weapons. The developer stated that this was unintentional, as camos from previous titles were not intended for use on Black Ops 6 weapons and are not supported due to visual inconsistencies. This correction affects weapon customization in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The patch notes also mention various stability improvements for both multiplayer and Zombies modes. On the Warzone side, the update addresses an issue that made shotguns excessively powerful with damage ranges longer than intended. Additionally, it fixes a bug that allowed players to earn more XP in battle royale than was intended.
The complete patch notes for Black Ops 6 and Warzone can be found below, as provided by Activision. Season 1 of Call of Duty continues to introduce new content, with the Ranked Play mode set to arrive in multiplayer on November 21. In related news, Call of Duty has surpassed other platforms in popularity on Xbox for the first time in over a decade.
Camos from previous titles were not designed for Black Ops 6 weapons and attachments, and are not supported due to visual inconsistencies.
