Actors Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli are gearing up for the third season of their popular rom-com series, Mismatched. On Monday, Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming season, which revolves around themes of love, technology, and friendship.
The duo has moved on from the Aravali Institute to a new campus in Hyderabad, marking the next chapter in their relationship. According to a press release, 'Love meets tech as the two tackle their ambitions and the effort it takes to stay in love while exploring what it means to live two lives — one real and one virtual.'
Rishi and Anmol (Taaruk Raina), once bitter rivals, now find themselves working together at the virtual-reality lab Betterverse, indicating a shift in dynamics this season. A new character, Rith (Lauren Robinson), is introduced, aiming to navigate this virtual world with the help of Celina (Muskkaan Jaferi), while Krish (Abhinav Sharma) continues to seek his place.
Sid sir (Rannvijay Singha) and Zeenat (Vidya Malavade) are also starting afresh, adopting new strategies. Producer Ronnie Screwvala expressed, 'Mismatched Season 3 is a milestone that reflects the love and effort of everyone involved. This season is incredibly close to our hearts as it takes on themes that truly resonate—growing together, embracing inclusivity, and facing life's tough moments. It's a reminder that even in life's complexities, there's beauty in connection and understanding.'
Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, added, 'Tis the season to be jolly, because the holidays and Mismatched S03 are here.' Mismatched Season 3 is set to release on December 13 on Netflix.
