MK Dons will face off against AFC Wimbledon in the first round of the FA Cup. The two League Two teams will clash at Stadium MK next month, following their previous league encounter this season, which Wimbledon won 3-0. League One leaders Birmingham have been drawn away to National League club Sutton, while Wrexham, currently second in the table, will travel to Harrogate. Bristol Rovers will host their close neighbors Weston-super-Mare from the National League South.
Curzon Ashton, a National League North side, will host Mansfield, who are third in League One. League Two leaders Port Vale have been drawn at home against Barnsley. Eighth-tier Hednesford, the lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition, will face Gateshead in a replay on Tuesday for the chance to play either Gainsborough or Boston.
Harborough, a seventh-tier side, secured their place in the first round for the first time with a victory over Bury on Saturday and will travel to Tonbridge Angels. Maidstone, who reached the fifth round last season, will face either Altrincham or Solihull Moors from the National League, while Tamworth will take on League One's Huddersfield.
The first-round ties are scheduled to be played from 1 to 4 November. The full list of FA Cup first-round matches includes Rotherham v Cheltenham, Barrow v Doncaster, Worthing v Morecambe, and many more.
