The 'Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum' is set to become an annual event, bringing together leaders from diverse fields and global experts. This initiative follows the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. The second edition of the Forum is scheduled for September 24-25, 2025, and will be organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the forum serves as a strategic platform crucial for shaping Dubai's future directions and plans. It aims to enhance strategic foresight and promote leadership practices inspired by the Mohammed Bin Rashid leadership model, making it a pivotal annual event for top-level leaders in Dubai.
As Dubai sets its sights on the future, the exchange of ideas between experts and leaders across various fields is vital. The forum will facilitate this through discussions, workshops, and lectures led by international experts, providing participants with essential skills for development.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, highlighted the importance of prioritizing comprehensive development and citizen welfare. He also stressed the need to prepare leaders to address current challenges and future responsibilities.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, which recently marked its 20th anniversary, has graduated over 850 Emirati leaders, including seven ministers and 10 undersecretaries. Since its inception, the Centre has collaborated with more than 300 local and global experts and 55 international universities to offer leadership training programs. These programs focus on equipping future leaders with essential skills, emphasizing adaptability and informed decision-making to navigate future challenges.
The decision to make the forum an annual event follows the success of its inaugural edition, which was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
