The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) discovered 1,818 private companies that breached Emiratisation regulations by illegally employing citizens from mid-2022 to September 17, 2024. These firms unlawfully hired 2,784 citizens and were found to have attempted to bypass localisation targets through fraudulent means. A substantial fine ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh500,000 is imposed on these non-compliant establishments, which are then referred to the Public Prosecution. The offenders are categorised at the lowest level in MoHRE's systems. Additionally, these companies are required to pay the necessary financial contributions and meet the actual Emiratisation targets.

Individuals found in violation of Emiratisation laws will have their Nafis benefits suspended, along with any previous financial advantages. The authority urges the public to report any practices that contravene Emiratisation policies and decisions by contacting the call centre at 600590000 or through the Ministry’s smart application and website. MoHRE has also cautioned that it will take action against any practices designed to evade Emiratisation obligations in accordance with the law.
