The Collector's Edition 4K Blu-ray box set of one of the most entertaining film franchises of the last decade is now available at a new low price. Yes, we're referring to Legendary's MonsterVerse featuring Godzilla and King Kong. The Godzilla x Kong MonsterVerse 5-Film Collector's Edition, released in June with an MSRP of $110, has seen its price slashed to just $70 on Amazon for a limited time. This comprehensive box set includes 4K Blu-ray discs and digital versions of all five MonsterVerse movies, including this year's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

Priced at $70 (originally $110), this Collector's Edition features a slipcase and a fold-out case with slots for each disc, adorned with landscape art showcasing the two colossal monsters in a face-off. In addition to the five 4K Blu-ray discs, there's a 1080p Blu-ray disc packed with new special features.

The MonsterVerse kicked off with 2014's Godzilla, marking the first truly great American film featuring the kaiju behemoth—apologies to the 1998 version. The story continued with Godzilla: King of the Monsters, where Godzilla solidified his status as the planet's apex predator. Meanwhile, Kong: Skull Island reintroduced the ape wonder of the world to the big screen, offering a slick Vietnam War-era experience with stunning cinematography.

Eventually, the two titans collided in Godzilla vs. Kong, a film that lived up to its premise and delivered a few surprises. Most recently, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire hit theaters in March, grossing over $570 million worldwide and becoming the fifth-highest-grossing movie of the year. In The New Empire, despite their ongoing rivalry, new global threats compel Kong and Godzilla to team up for the greater good. Plus, the scene where Godzilla suplexes Kong into one of the Giza pyramids is a highlight.

It's also worth mentioning that Walmart is offering an exclusive steelbook edition of The New Empire, available for preorder at $35 ahead of its December 3 release. Additionally, Godzilla Minus One, the latest Japanese film featuring the legendary kaiju, is set to release on 4K Blu-ray on November 19. While the limited edition with a steelbook case is sold out, you can still save on the standard 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray combo pack at Amazon.
