As reported by the BBC, Jonathan Bloomer, the chairman of Morgan Stanley, is one of the six individuals unaccounted for following the capsizing and sinking of the 56-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Bayesian off the coast of Palermo, Italy on 19 August.

The Italian Port Authority has confirmed the death of one person. It is believed that the yacht was being utilized to commemorate Lynch's recent triumph in an 8 billion pound fraud case that lasted 13 years. Constructed in Italy by the esteemed Perini Navi and launched in 2008, the yacht's naval architecture was crafted by Ron Holland Design, with interior design by Rémi Tessier. Previously named Salute, the vessel underwent its last refit in 2016 and was put up for sale earlier this year, as per BOATPro. The yacht was equipped to accommodate nine guests and 12 crew members.

BOAT International will provide updates as the situation unfolds.
