Motorists traveling along Ras Al Khor road encountered significant delays on Wednesday morning as a result of a car accident that occurred during the morning rush hour, a time when most residents are commuting to work.
The traffic congestion started from the road adjacent to Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1, extending through the wildlife sanctuary and Dubai Design District, according to Google Maps. The congestion eased into normal traffic flow after passing Business Bay Bus Station 2.
Google Maps indicated that the traffic jam had been in effect since approximately 7am, when it was initially reported.
