Dubai is gearing up for a night enriched with tunes, recollections, and captivating tales surrounding the iconic Bollywood music director RD Burman. A musical homage titled 'Oh Pancham!' is scheduled to occur at the Emirates International School Auditorium in Jumeirah on June 15, commencing at 7:30pm. This event is orchestrated by the Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts. The concert will feature Dubai's young musical virtuoso, Sreeyanka Banerjee, in collaboration with celebrated radio jockey and theater figure, Gaggan Mudgal. 'This concert holds a special place in my heart as it signifies the professional debut of my student, S++, in the realm of music,' remarked Jogiraj Sikidar, the founder and director of Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts, who also devised the show. Sreeyanka Banerjee, the evening's leading performer, expressed, 'It's a dream realized for me. I will be rendering timeless pieces such as 'Raina Beeti Jaye,' the classic 'Chura Liya Hai,' the lively 'Duniya Mein Logon Ko,' and several others.' The event will showcase exclusive audio and video snippets of RD Burman. 'I will be divulging some fascinating facts about Pancham.
