A new era for NASCAR games is set to begin in 2025, but fans might want to secure the previous titles before they disappear. Motorsport Games, the company that recently held the rights to produce NASCAR racing games, has declared that all its NASCAR titles and related DLC will be removed from digital storefronts by December 31.

The good news is that games like NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Rivals, and NASCAR: Ignition will be discounted before they are delisted. While these games and their physical versions will still be playable after January 1, 2025, they won't be available for direct online purchase. NASCAR-branded games have a rich history, starting with Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge in 1991, and have been developed by various publishers over the years.

Currently, iRacing holds the NASCAR rights and is reportedly planning to launch NASCAR '25 across all consoles and PC in Fall 2025. Real-life NASCAR racers have often expressed their support for games based on their sport. Notably, Ross Chastain attributed his thrilling wallride finish in 2022 to NASCAR 2005, a move that NASCAR later banned due to safety concerns.
