Finnish shipbuilder Nautor Swan has unveiled the 23.2-metre Solle One at Sanlorenzo's facility in La Spezia, Italy. This event comes after Sanlorenzo's acquisition of Nautor Swan, which was publicized in August 2024. The vessel is set to make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this year. Solle One serves as the premier model of Nautor Swan's power yacht segment, known as Swan Arrow. The yacht was first showcased at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival and was originally designed as a chaseboat, but it developed into a standalone dayboat through the design process. Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén has crafted the yacht's exterior, drawing inspiration from the profound connection to the sea observed in sailing yachts. "It's this connection that initially attracts people to sailing," he noted. "Our goal was to enhance the experience and pleasure of being on the water and outdoors, blending it with the luxuries of a motor yacht." Consequently, the yacht features a walkaround deck and a 50-square-metre beach club with fold-down terraces that are slightly elevated above the waterline. The cockpit roof is adjustable and glass doors can pivot and slide to facilitate better airflow when required. Below deck, the yacht offers a standard three-cabin layout accommodating up to six guests, along with crew quarters for two. An alternative layout includes two large double cabins and a lounge area amidships for those who prefer interior relaxation. Swan Arrow boasts a beam of 6.9 metres and is powered by three inboard Volvo Penta engines, enabling a top speed of 40 knots. "Initially, we envisioned it as a stunning 'chase boat' for our Swans," remarked Leonardo Ferragamo, President of Nautor Group. "Upon its launch, the response was overwhelming, transforming it into a unique boat that carved out its own niche, becoming an exceptional day boat." He further stated, "The positive reception bolstered our resolve to develop a second version, Swan OverShadow, a Gran Turismo variant with inboard engines. We felt they needed a larger counterpart, and market demand steered us in that direction. Thus, Swan Arrow was conceived, reinforcing the distinctive identity we have established." This development coincides with the delivery of Nautor Swan's inaugural hybrid sailing yacht, the 28.3-metre DreamCatcher, which is also slated to debut at Cannes this year.
