NBC has officially approved the expansion of the highly praised legal drama Suits through a new spin-off named Suits: LA.

Building on the success of the original Suits, which became a popular streaming series, NBC's decision to greenlight Suits: LA highlights the ongoing interest in the franchise, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Created by Aaron Korsh, the mastermind behind the original series, Suits: LA is set in Los Angeles and features Stephen Amell (Arrow, Heels) as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor who moves to Los Angeles to head a faltering law firm. The show is expected to delve into Ted's professional struggles and personal relationships against the backdrop of a legal drama. The cast also includes Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg, with Victoria Mahoney directing the pilot episode, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. NBC plans to launch the series in the latter part of the 2024-25 television season.
