The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has alerted drivers about reduced visibility due to fog on Friday morning. The NCM issued a red alert, informing the public of potentially worsening horizontal visibility that could decrease further until 9am. For several days, the UAE has faced morning fog, with the weather department predicting dense fog and advising residents to anticipate more foggy days, especially on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi route.

Abu Dhabi Police posted on X, urging drivers to be cautious due to the fog's impact on visibility. They advised motorists to adjust their speeds according to the changing limits shown on electronic signs. Similarly, Dubai Police also encouraged drivers to be careful while driving, highlighting the fog's effect on visibility across certain areas of the emirate.

Although the NCM predicted foggy conditions in some regions this morning, the overall weather is expected to be fair with occasional cloudiness. Humidity is forecasted to rise at night and persist into Saturday morning, potentially leading to fog or mist in coastal and inland areas. Light to moderate winds, occasionally stronger, are anticipated to blow across the country. The sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
