The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning to motorists about poor visibility due to fog formation on Monday morning. The weather department issued a red alert, informing residents of a decline in horizontal visibility, which could further decrease at times in certain coastal and internal areas until 9:30 AM.
In a post on X, Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to drive with caution due to the reduced visibility caused by the fog. Drivers are advised to adhere to the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.

Overall, residents can anticipate a fair day, which may become partly cloudy at times, with clouds expected in the eastern and northern regions. Humid conditions are forecasted for the night and early Tuesday morning, with a possibility of fog or mist forming in some coastal and internal areas. In locations such as Sweihan and Al Ruwais in Abu Dhabi, humidity levels could reach up to 90%.
Light to moderate winds are expected to blow across the country. The sea conditions will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
