The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning to UAE residents regarding a tropical storm situated in the northeast of the Arabian Sea. Moving at a speed of 7kmph, the storm is anticipated to persist over the next 48 hours, potentially impacting the country indirectly, as stated by the weather department.
Wind speeds currently fluctuating between 60 and 70 kmph are forecasted to escalate to 80 kmph within the next 48 hours, according to the NCM. Due to the movement of clouds from the Arabian Sea, there is a possibility of rainfall in the eastern and southern regions. The Oman Sea and Arabian Gulf are expected to experience rough conditions, with sea levels potentially rising along certain eastern coast beaches during high tide on Sunday and Monday.
