Veteran actress Neena Gupta's prowess is limitless. Throughout her illustrious career, which has extended over four decades, she has captivated audiences with her diverse range of roles. Starting with her first film, Aadharshila in 1982, and earning a National Award for Woh Chokri in 1994, to becoming a familiar face both as an actor and director through the TV series Saans in the late 90s, Neena Gupta has consistently engaged viewers. Her career experienced a revival in 2018 when she portrayed a middle-aged expectant mother in the comedy-drama Badhaai Ho, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics). In an interview with ANI, Neena Gupta disclosed that one of her forthcoming projects is a Malayalam series. She also mentioned her collaboration with Rakul Preet Singh in a film currently titled Made in India. 'I have completed a Malayalam series that will soon be available on Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, I have worked on a film with Rakul Preet Singh. The film is currently known as Made in India, but the title might change. I am also part of the film Baa...it features a dog,' she explained. Meanwhile, on Sunday night, Neena Gupta was honored with a trophy at the Nexa Streaming Academy Awards for her film Mast Mein Rehne Ka.
