A new British school is set to open in Dubai South soon. Registrations will commence from June 1, 2024, and the academic year will begin in August of the same year. The Gems Founders School will initially cater to students from FS1 to Year 8, with plans to expand to accommodate over 2,500 students up to Year 13. The construction of the school will be carried out in phases, starting with the Early Years and primary schools.
The facilities will include spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art labs for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), fully equipped food tech and ICT labs, art and music rooms, dedicated language and Islamic studies classrooms, and an indoor play area for Foundation Stage. Additionally, there will be a 25-meter competition-standard swimming pool, a football pitch, multi-purpose sports halls for various sports, and ample outdoor green spaces for activities.
