A forthcoming bus service is set to commence operations in Dubai Hills Estate, a residential district situated in Dubai's Mohammed bin Rashid City, as reported by Khaleej Times. The new service, originating from Equiti Metro Station on Sheikh Zayed Road, will also benefit patrons of Dubai Hills Mall. Although the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has not yet formally disclosed the launch date and schedule of this service, Khaleej Times has verified that buses will depart from Equiti Metro Station, traverse Umm Suqeim Road, and make stops at Dubai Hills Mall, Business Park, Acacia 1, Park Heights 1, Mulberry 1 & 2, and King’s College Hospital Dubai.
The introduction of this bus service has generated enthusiasm not only among mall visitors but also among the staff. Gemma T., a Filipino expatriate and sales supervisor at a Dubai Hills Mall store, expressed her excitement to Khaleej Times: “The new service will allow me to save on transportation costs, as I can now commute to work and back via bus instead of taking a taxi from the Metro.”
