Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a Member of the Supreme Council, has unveiled a range of fresh initiatives in Kalba. Among these is the 'Kalba Gate' project, which encompasses a museum that exhibits various facets of heritage such as customs, traditions, and folk songs, as well as a park that encircles the flood-ravaged Khor Kalba Fort.
Additionally, Sheikh Dr Sultan has introduced a comprehensive environmental, archaeological, and heritage tourism program for Kalba, leveraging the city's inherent attributes. He also emphasized the ongoing efforts to finalize the 'Kalba Gate' project, a route that links the hanging gardens with Al Hefaiyah Lake. The pathway is equipped with a railing to ensure safety, enabling visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the hanging gardens, the lake, and the entirety of Kalba.
