Prime Video has unveiled a fresh trailer for Secret Level, its forthcoming video game-themed anthology series helmed by Deadpool director Tim Miller. The show presents original narratives set within the realms of renowned video game franchises such as Armored Core, Concord, Dungeons & Dragons, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, Pac-Man, The Outer Worlds, and various PlayStation titles. The series is set to premiere on December 10 on Prime Video, with new episodes rolling out until December 17. Additionally, Prime Video has announced that sneak previews of select episodes will be available on November 18 via the Secret Level social media channels.
The voice cast boasts a stellar lineup including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Ariana Greenblatt, Gabriel Luna, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, and Laura Bailey, among others. Notably, Secret Level's episode dedicated to Concord, the ill-fated PlayStation multiplayer game, is proceeding despite the game's shutdown and the subsequent closure of the game studio. Miller recently shared his thoughts on this, stating that the episode "turned out really well." He expressed his admiration for the Concord development team, telling Rolling Stone, "There was no nicer, more invested group of developers than the team on Concord. I honestly don't understand why it didn't work. I know that they were trying to do the best they could, and they were a talented group of artists, so I feel terrible for that."
Miller previously spearheaded the anthology series Love, Death & Robots for Netflix.
