Microsoft has rolled out a fresh update for the Xbox app on PC, but it's currently exclusive to Xbox Insiders. This update introduces several enhancements, including the ability to swiftly access the hub of a recently played game and dive straight into gameplay. Additionally, users can now more easily spot new releases.

One of the standout features in this update is the 'jump back in' functionality, which was previously tested in May as part of the Game Pass tab experience. This feature displays the last nine games you've played in Compact Mode, allowing you to select any game card that opens up the game's hub, enabling you to jump right back into the action.

Moreover, the Home screen has been revamped to showcase featured content, which includes the latest updates, upcoming game releases, and Game Pass offerings. This should make it easier for you to launch the app and immediately see the most noteworthy new content. Furthermore, deals and discounts from the Microsoft Store are now aggregated and prominently displayed on the home page.

The update also introduces curated lists of game recommendations tailored to your personal preferences. Xbox has been steadily improving over the past year, with notable updates in June that introduced more personalization options for backgrounds, such as the ability to use both dynamic and game art backgrounds simultaneously.
