New York Strikers showcased a commanding performance against Team Abu Dhabi, securing a remarkable 10-wicket victory in the 2024 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament at Zayed Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Team Abu Dhabi struggled from the outset, losing wickets consistently and finding themselves at 40/5 before being restricted to 73/7 in their 10 overs. Pakistan's Mohammad Amir was the standout bowler, finishing with figures of 3/7 in 2 overs. West Indies spinner also claimed two wickets at the cost of just 14 runs in two overs, while Akeal Hosein and Khuzaima Tanveer each picked up a wicket.

In response, New York Strikers' openers, Sri Lanka's Kusal Perera and West Indies' Evin Lewis, ensured the team remained unscathed. Perera contributed an unbeaten 56 off 26 deliveries, including four sixes and six fours. Lewis, on the other hand, scored 17 not out off 12 as the Strikers chased down the target in just 6.2 overs.
