Nick Cannon admitted that the right time to leave a Sean “Diddy” Combs party was “early.” The “Masked Singer” host shared his experiences with Diddy during an appearance on Adam22’s No Jumper podcast on Monday, alongside Wack 100 and Lush One. When asked by Adam how he avoided issues at these parties, Cannon simply replied, “I leave early.” Wack elaborated, stating that at a “Diddy party, things remained calm until around 2:30-3 AM. After that, people start to leave, and those who stay move to the back, where things might get unpredictable.
Cannon added that as the DJ, he would wrap up his set and leave when it was time. Wack confirmed this, saying, “That’s the 3 o’clock joint,” to which Cannon agreed, “Ya, we out.” Lush One chimed in, mentioning that insiders referred to the more intense activities as “the real freak-off is inside.” Cannon admitted he had never witnessed any of these events firsthand but speculated that they might come to light in May, based on the ongoing legal proceedings.
According to a federal indictment released in September, Combs and his associates allegedly used intimidation tactics to lure female victims into his circle, often under the guise of a romantic relationship. They would then coerce these victims into engaging in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers, referred to as “Freak Offs.” These performances were reportedly elaborate, directed by Combs, and often recorded. Combs and his team allegedly transported these sex workers across state lines and internationally for these events, which sometimes lasted multiple days and involved multiple participants.
When the topic of 1,000 bottles of baby oil found during federal raids on Diddy’s homes in March came up, Cannon expressed skepticism, suggesting that the story was sensationalized. He doubted that Johnson & Johnson would even send Diddy such a large quantity as a promotional item. Cannon questioned the credibility of the indictment, stating, “His karma is on trial, that’s what that is.” The group then reflected on Diddy’s cultural influence and his portrayal of himself as “invincible.” Cannon recalled Diddy’s evolving persona, noting that he seemed to want to change and become a better person.
Diddy is currently detained at the New York Metropolitan Detention Center following his arrest last month on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Authorities claim that Combs operated a criminal enterprise through his businesses, which include Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises, and Combs Global, among others. Despite maintaining his innocence, if convicted, Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of life behind bars. Judge Arun Subramanian has scheduled Combs’ trial to commence on May 5, with the prosecution estimating three weeks to present their case, while Combs’ legal team anticipates needing one week for their defense.
