Nicole Eggert opened up about her breast cancer journey in a candid Instagram video. The 52-year-old 'Baywatch' star, known for her role as Summer Quinn, shared an emotional moment from her car where she tearfully discussed her changing appearance and the new tattoos she received as part of her radiation treatment.

"Okay, so I just got out of my CT scan, mapping – as they call it – for my radiation treatment and when they said they were gonna tattoo me, I didn't realize it was actual, real tattoos, so I was tatted!" Eggert told her followers on Nov. 20. She continued, her voice breaking, "And it's minor, it's nothing but dots, but boy, every step of this process is never gonna let you forget it, there's just always going to be a constant reminder."

Eggert's mood lightened slightly as she joked, "So yeah, I have tattoos. My mom's gonna be really proud of my neck tattoo, but that's okay, that's okay." She added that while the medical staff were wonderful, she's still not looking forward to the treatment but is determined to get through it.

Previously, Eggert had shared her fears about undergoing radiation, recalling her father's experience with brain tumors and the lasting effects of radiation treatment. "What I'm struggling with is I know the damage that radiation does, my father had it on his brain, he had tumors in his brain, and after the first treatment, he was not the same person anymore," she said.

In August, Eggert provided an update on her health battle, revealing she had been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in December 2023. "I am good," she told People at the 'After Baywatch: Moment in The Sun' premiere in Los Angeles. "I am in sort of a gray area and I finished my treatment, waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery."

Eggert, who produced the four-part ABC News Studios docuseries about 'Baywatch,' appeared at the premiere alongside several of her co-stars, including Carmen Electra and Alexandra Paul. Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff did not attend the event nor participate in the Hulu project that began streaming on Aug. 28.
