Indie developer Night Dial has recently unveiled its newest horror game, titled 'Crowded. Followed.' In this game, players assume the role of an unnamed protagonist who encounters a distressed, dying man amidst a bustling street party. The man implores the player to take a (rather sickly-looking) briefcase from him, cautioning that the briefcase will attract an unknown entity.

From the trailer, the game's storyline seems reminiscent of the 2014 horror film 'It Follows,' where a woman is pursued by a malevolent force that takes on various forms. 'This thing… it may take the form of someone else,' the man on the ground warns the protagonist as a menacing, tall figure resembling Samara appears around the corner.

As the title implies, 'Crowded. Followed.' challenges players to hold onto the briefcase while navigating through winding streets, crowded metropolitan areas, and a massive club party, all while being relentlessly pursued by the shapeshifting entity. Notably, the protagonist is seen using an asthma inhaler in the trailer, hinting at potential medical challenges in addition to the relentless pursuit.

Night Dial's latest analog horror game takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes to complete, making it an ideal choice for horror enthusiasts who don't have 18-25 hours to invest in the 'Silent Hill 2' remake. Additionally, 'Crowded. Followed.' is budget-friendly, currently available on Steam for $6 USD (on sale for $5.39). A free demo is also accessible for download.
