Turkish shipyard Numarine has provided an exclusive glimpse into the first hull of its 30XP series, christened Minella. This comes after her grand debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this year. The 30.8-metre explorer yacht was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, marking the first Numarine vessel to feature hybrid propulsion. Both the exterior and interior design are the brainchild of Can Yalman, with the 30XP set to "fill a neat, mid-sized gap" in the shipyard's portfolio.

"We drew inspiration from a sustainable, Scandinavian design philosophy that emphasizes simplicity, minimalism, and functionality," shared Numarine founder and chairman Ömer Malaz. "Our goal is to provide a sense of home, even when you're far out at sea." The yacht offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five en suite cabins, including four guest cabins on the lower deck and a master cabin located forward on the main deck. The master cabin boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and bulwark cutouts to maximize sea views, along with a private fold-out balcony and an office space equipped with a study desk. Additionally, there is room for five crew members.

The flybridge is particularly noteworthy, with Numarine asserting that it offers "the area and features of a much larger yacht". Minella makes full use of this space with a set of sofas, an eight-person dining table, and side decks that lead to a spacious sunpad area. There is also room for a wet bar, and the option to install solar panels on the hardtop. Meanwhile, the beach club benefits from ample headroom, achieved by raising the deck above, which then transforms into a lounging area. Three fold-down balconies enhance the connection to the water, creating a total space of 46 square metres. A side-loading tender bay can accommodate a tender measuring 5.65 metres.

The 30XP boasts a maximum speed of 13 knots, with a range of 3,000 nautical miles when cruising at eight knots. With the addition of a proposed 55XP flagship, the 30XP brings the shipyard's range to a total of seven models. Numarine is also planning to boost production with a new waterside facility slated for completion in a few years' time. In recent developments, Numarine has turned the hull on its flagship explorer model, the 40MXP. The 39-metre yacht is distinguished by her extended aft deck and a glass-fronted dip pool.
