The official song for the 53rd UAE National Day, launched by the Union Day Organising Committee, has been unveiled. Entitled 'Badou Baniina Ummah,' it will be featured in the official live broadcast on December 2.
Translated as “Bedouins Built a Nation,” the poem encapsulates profound affection for the homeland and a strong sense of national pride. As the official anthem for Eid Al Etihad, it underscores the unwavering loyalty to the leadership that has steered the Emirates to remarkable achievements.
The poem also mirrors the lofty aspirations of future generations, equipped with knowledge, who strive to forge a radiant future for the Emirates while safeguarding customs and traditions, and taking immense pride in their national heritage.
The song marries authenticity steeped in Bedouin values with the progress and modernity epitomised by science and civilisation. This fusion mirrors the UAE's vision and journey, akin to the Pleiades star that once illuminated the paths for ancestors and now serves as a beacon and testament to the Emirates' accomplishments and innovations.
Composed by poet Ali Al-Khawar, orchestrated by music director and composer Mohammed Al-Ahmad, and performed by the Emirates Choir, the song is available for streaming on Spotify, Anghami, YouTube, and Apple Music.
