Olivia Nuzzi is departing from New York magazine amidst a surge of scandalous stories surrounding the prominent Washington correspondent's romantic relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
In the magazine's official statement on their website, New York mentioned that an external investigation revealed no signs of bias in any of Nuzzi's reporting throughout the 2024 campaign.
"Nonetheless, the magazine and Nuzzi mutually decided that the most suitable path forward is to separate," the statement conveyed, further describing the 31-year-old as "a remarkably gifted writer."
The affair, which involved an extensive "sexting" episode, has also embroiled Nuzzi in a contentious legal dispute with her former journalist fiancé, Ryan Lizza.
