Following over seven months of extensive inquiries, over 100 members of a criminal organization have been indicted for trial in the State Security Court at the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal. The Public Prosecution's extensive investigations unveiled the participation of more than 100 individuals in the establishment, administration, and membership of a notorious criminal group called the "Bahloul Gang." This group was dedicated to conducting unlawful operations, amassing illicit funds, and distributing these among its members by leveraging their authority and influence in the territories they controlled. They propagated their nefarious activities via social media, armed with prohibited weapons and tools, which they utilized to instill fear and terror in their targets to extract monetary tributes for the gang's objectives. Additionally, they endeavored to obscure the origins of their illegal earnings through money laundering tactics.
