Ever dreamt of owning your very own NASCAR stock car? Here's your opportunity. This isn't just any ordinary NASCAR vehicle. Cars & Bids is offering Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s genuine 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, adorned with the iconic red-and-black Budweiser livery.
Constructed by Dale Earnhardt Industries in 2006 for the 2007 season, this car competed in the Pepsi 400 at Daytona during the Nextel Cup Series. It boasts a robust 5.9-liter V-8 engine, generating between 600 to 800 horsepower depending on the configuration. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Although not street-legal, it would undoubtedly be an incredible track car.
Inside, you'll find all the amenities that Jr. had when racing this car fresh in 2007. Features include a full roll cage, a quick-release steering wheel, a fire suppression system, and a safety net in place of the driver's window. Notably, the front windshield and rear window are crafted from a lightweight composite material instead of glass.
Despite not having raced for nearly 17 years, the car remains in immaculate condition, with only minor exterior nicks and evident tire wear. The Miami-based dealership, Curated, which specializes in high-end exotics, acquired the vehicle in 2023.
As of now, there are two days remaining in the auction. The current highest bid stands at $20,000, but it's anticipated to rise significantly. Estimates indicate that a new modern NASCAR stock car can cost between $225,000 to $500,000 to build. This one is unlikely to sell for much less.
