The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Raoof Hasan, has been remanded into judicial custody for 14 days by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad, according to ARY News. Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the ATC rejected a request for a seven-day physical remand of Hasan. Previously, Hasan, the information secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had been granted an additional day of physical remand by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad. Hasan was arrested by Islamabad Police on July 22 in the capital, as reported by ARY News.
