Paris Jackson has officially moved off the dating scene — and she’s sporting a ring to confirm it! The sole daughter of the late Michael Jackson shared the news of her engagement to her bandmate Justin Long in a heartfelt birthday tribute to her partner.
“Happy birthday my sweet blue,” Jackson, 26, penned in her Friday Instagram post. “Living life with you over these past years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn’t imagine anyone more perfect for me to experience it all with.”
The musician continued, “Thank you for allowing me to be yours. I love you.”
A series of pictures provided fans with a glimpse into the couple’s relationship, featuring her stunning and sizable square-cut diamond, moments from a photo booth, selfies of the couple, and their medieval Halloween costumes. The collection of sweet images also included Jackson and Long cuddling on their tour bus and a shot capturing the proposal itself.
Jackson and Long began their relationship in 2022, but the rocker hasn’t featured Paris on his Instagram grid since their collaboration at her 2023 BottleRock music festival performance in Napa Valley.
Previously, Jackson dated her bandmate Gabriel Glenn for over two years before their split in August 2020. Reflecting on her musical journey in 2021, she told Willow Smith on “Red Table Talk” that it was fueled by “heartbreak.”
“It was the deepest love I’ve ever experienced, the most intense I’ve felt so far, and the most intense betrayal I’ve felt and experienced,” she admitted. “It has definitely made me more cautious with who I spend my time with now, and I’m very guarded and protective of myself.”
Smith, 24, also questioned Jackson about settling down and getting married someday. “I’m not opposed to marriage and if I love someone, sure, but right now my focus is on my spirituality and my music,” she responded, adding that having children is a “maybe” for the future.
Jackson has also been open about her sexuality, sharing candidly during the Facebook Watch series, “Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn.” “I thought I’d end up marrying a woman,” she explained. “I’ve dated more women than men.”
“I identify as gay because I guess I am, but I wouldn’t consider myself bisexual because I’ve dated more than just men and women, I’ve dated someone who had a vagina.” “It’s not about what’s in your pants, it’s literally about who you are as a person,” Jackson added.
