The day is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. There is a possibility of rainfall affecting some Eastern, Northern areas, and islands. Light to moderate winds are forecast, occasionally picking up speed and causing blowing dust throughout the day.
The authority has also issued red and yellow alerts for certain regions, warning of a "chance of fog formation with reduced horizontal visibility, which could worsen at times over some internal areas from 7am to 9am on Tuesday." The affected areas are marked on the map below:
Temperatures in the country could reach as high as 30ºC. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the mercury is expected to climb to 28ºC. However, temperatures may drop to as low as 17ºC in Abu Dhabi, 19ºC in Dubai, and 8ºC in internal areas.
Humidity levels will rise during the night and into Thursday morning, with a chance of fog or mist forming over some coastal and internal areas. In Abu Dhabi, humidity will range from 15% to 70%, while in Dubai, it will vary between 20% and 70%. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
