The inaugural unit of Pearl Yachts' 25.3-metre series, named Pearly Spencer, has been delivered after her debut at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival. As reported by BOATPro, she is currently anchored in Port de Portals Nous in Palma, Mallorca.

The Pearl 82 model is positioned between the shipyard's Pearl 95 and Pearl 72 models and boasts a raised pilothouse design with two aft deck options and a semi-walkaround deck featuring a forward master suite and a private forepeak terrace. Pearl Yachts asserts that this model is the only yacht in its class to offer such a configuration, with managing director Iain Smallridge describing the 82 as "the most compact superyacht on the market".

The Pearl 82 is the result of a collaboration between the shipyard and Bill Dixon, whose studio, Dixon Yacht Design, crafted the exterior profile and naval architecture. The model shares a sporty profile with the rest of the Pearl range, characterized by four bands of dark glass. Owners can choose between two aft deck setups: the "Riviera" configuration with aft-facing sunpads and a sofa arrangement, or the "Veranda" layout with pivoting seating that can be used for dining or observing sea activities. Fold-down bulwarks expand the aft cockpit, while a tender garage provides storage for a Williams 345 tender or similar, and a Jet Ski.

All outdoor areas can be shielded by a foredeck Bimini, electric shades, and the hard top on the flybridge, which can be adjusted for full shade, adjustable louvres, or full sun with a touch of a button. The owner's foredeck lounge is connected to the flybridge deck and includes a full-sized dining table, a bar, a sunpad, and a spa pool. Kelly Hoppen, a long-time collaborator of Pearl Yachts, is responsible for the interior, which can accommodate up to 10 guests. The forward master suite offers access to a private bow terrace via a glass door, while the remaining guest accommodations are located on the lower deck, comprising two twins and two doubles.

Hoppen noted, "We've utilized beautiful materials, and the joinery and detailing are exceptionally intricate, but the onboard feel is quite open plan, with these wonderfully enlarged windows that make you feel truly at sea rather than enclosed inside a yacht." Other interior highlights include a main saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows that, combined with cut-out bulwarks, allow ample natural light to flood the space. Forward, there is dining for all 10 guests with galley access to port. Engine room access, galley access, and foredeck access are all situated on the port side of the yacht, ensuring privacy for guests and crew.

At the yacht's launch in July 2024, Smallridge stated, "The design unveiled in Düsseldorf set the stage for what will be a truly spectacular world premiere at Cannes next September. This yacht is a testament to our feature-focused philosophy and innovative spirit, and to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of yacht design and flawless quality." The Pearl 82 offers owners a choice of three propulsion packages, with twin MAN V12 engines ranging from 1,650hp to 2,000hp, the most powerful of which can achieve a top speed of 33 knots.
