Philippine first lady Louise Araneta-Marcos toured the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by Alfonso Ferdinand, the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, and Mohamed Obaid Alqataam Alzaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Philippines, along with Dr. Yousef Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre. During the visit, the group was informed about the mosque's message emphasizing coexistence, tolerance, and cultural openness, inspired by the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's legacy.

The delegation also explored the mosque's significant role in showcasing the true spirit of Islamic culture and fostering global cross-cultural dialogue. At the conclusion of the tour, the first lady received two notable publications from the Centre. One was 'Spaces of Light,' featuring the winning images from the annual Spaces of Light photography contest, which celebrates the mosque's aesthetic and visual culture. The other was 'Houses of God,' a book detailing historical Islamic places of worship.
