Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor is poised to team up with Zac Efron in the upcoming thriller Famous, helmed by director Jody Hill. This film delves into the shadowy aspects of stardom and is an adaptation of Blake Crouch's popular novel, scripted by Chad Hodge. Deadline reports that the movie offers a compelling examination of the themes of celebrity and fixation.

In Famous, Efron will portray two distinct characters: Lance Dunkquist, a fervent admirer who closely resembles the A-list actor James Jansen, and Jansen himself. The narrative tracks Lance's transformation from a humble small-town aspirant to an individual consumed by the desire to achieve fame, spurred on by his striking likeness to Jansen.

Dynevor, known for her role as Daphne Basset in Netflix's Bridgerton, has also starred in the Netflix thriller Fair Play, which debuted at Sundance 2023 and garnered her a BAFTA nomination. Her next venture, Inheritance, is scheduled to hit screens in 2025.
